El– Tayeb are sister companies that wanted to increase their export options andrevenue by exporting ginger and hibiscus to Europe. In order to achieve this, theyneeded rainforest alliance and Union of Ethical Biodiversity Trade (UEBT)certification which they contacted us for our certification services.
What we did
We helped them to develop and manage the Union of Ethical Biodiversity Trade(UEBT) certification program for Ginger and Hibiscus. We trained their hibiscus farmers on good agricultural practices (GAPS) to comply with Rainforest Alliance Certification and supervised the application process to certification bodies.
